Berkshire Network Scouts completed projects in the Milo area of Blantyre which included: supporting the Malawi Scouts ‘Food for life’ project (creating local kitchen gardens); repairing 104 primary school desks; refurbishing school classrooms; and installing a rainwater harvesting scheme attached to the building fully funded by Berkshire Scouts during Malawi in 2024.
The Network Scouts planned and delivered Malawi 2026 as part of their Scouts of the World Award (SOWA).
This expedition was purposefully different in scale and scope to the full visit in 2024. The next full Project Africa expedition is likely to be in the summer of 2028.

Most projects are completed during the main visits to Malawi. However, Project Africa funds projects between visits. The images below show a new bore hole in a village near to Milo and a new community centre building at Solomoni.
