Leader applications
Applications are now open to join the adult volunteer team for Berkshire Scouts Project Africa – Malawi 2028!
The Adult Volunteer Application Pack provides all the information you require before completing the Adult Volunteer Application Form. Leader applications close 15 January 2027.
Project Africa is about much more than travelling overseas. It is an opportunity to make a practical difference to the lives of young people, build friendships and partnerships with Malawian Scouts and local communities, share skills and experiences, and learn from a different culture.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help plan and deliver the expedition across a range of areas, including programme, logistics, finance, risk and safety, welfare, communications, support services and fundraising. Whether you have years of Scouting experience, professional skills, practical talents or simply a passion to get involved, there could be a place for you.
You’ll be part of a team working towards a shared purpose, take on new challenges and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Everyone who applies by the deadline will be invited to a relaxed Meet & Discover event in February – an opportunity to find out more and for us to get to know you.
