It’s important that we value and thank all our adult volunteers for their amazing contribution to Scouting. One way to recognise their achievements and service is through Good Service Awards.
Nominating someone for a good service award
Anyone can nominate an adult volunteer for a good service award. The tables below give links to resources which help in explaining how to make a nomination.
The Berkshire Scouts Awards sub-team are available to provide local support in how to make and submit a nomination. It’s recommended that a draft nomination is created in the first instance using the Berkshire Scouts Word document. This will allow the draft to be shared, discussed, and edited (if required) before submitting via scouts.org.
The County Awards sub-team have also drafted a few example nominations which may provide guidance on the kind of content required for a particular award.
