Cubs from 1st Cippenham put their best foot forward recently when they tackled the Trunks Across the Thames elephant art trail in Eton and Windsor – all in the name of charity.
The Cubs embarked on a sponsored hike to raise money for the Thames Hospice charity, tracking down 13 of the beautifully decorated elephant sculptures.
The challenge was about much more than finding elephants, though. Throughout the evening, the Cubs worked together as a team, developed their navigation skills, built confidence, and showed great determination as they completed the route while striking a different pose! It was a fun-filled adventure that everyone will remember.
Thanks to the generosity of parents and supporters, the Cubs raised £65 for Thames Hospice, the charity that provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, making a real difference in the local community.
Well done 1st Cippenham – what an achievement!
