1st Hurst Scout Group are looking for a Group Treasurer to support the young people activities by keeping an eye on their finances.
The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring proper procedures are in place by ensuring the group funds are accounted for in a timely, accurate, transparent way. Ensuring compliance with both charity commission rules, the Scout Association rules. Volunteering with scouts is not only great for you CV, but also incredible rewarding.
We are looking for someone who can help keep the Group’s accounts on track and organised and produce financial report and more.
This is an ideal role for someone starting a career in accountancy/finance. The role will not only allow you to gain valuable experience within finance but also many other fields.
You will attend Group committee meetings, whilst working on the accounts at a time that suits you. Allowing you to carry on with work, college and social life all the while helping make a difference to the scouting in Hurst.
