Local Training Manager – Wokingham

Adult volunteers within The Scout Association undertake a range of training responsibilities appropriate to their role, and have a time frame within which to complete these. The training is personalised to each individual’s prior experience and current undertakings.

The role of the Local Training Manager is to ensure each adult is supported to complete their training. You will manage a small team of Training Advisers to work with the adults in completing these requirements, and you will work alongside other Local Training Managers across Berkshire who can provide peer support.

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, keen to support others and can organise a work plan.

You will have access to the Internet and proficient in using email and basic Office programs. You can volunteer at times to suit yourself. Occasional evening meetings will be organised to bring you together with other Local Training Managers.
