Support Scouts

There are many ways in which you can support Scouting.  

 

Scouting is a world-wide movement which brings adventure, challenge and friendship to young people aged 6 to 25 in areas local to you. In Berkshire there are over 100 Groups and Units meeting each week.

You may prefer to help Scouting locally - if so we will be pleased to put you touch with the local Scout Group.

If you would prefer to work with Berkshire Scouts supporting the magic of Scouting across Berkshire you will be most welcome.

Supporting Scouting can involve:

~ Getting involved to help support adult volunteers who are working directly with young people - the opportunities for Trustees and administrative roles

~ Provide new opportunities for young people

~ Help open new Scout Groups or sections or units

~ Help develop Scouting in different ways - bringing the values of Scouting to new communities and new groups of young people

~ Sponsor specific activities

~ Use your activity skills

~ Help recruit additional adult volunteers
