Oxfordshire
Scouts
Scouting is alive and well in Oxfordshire. We have eleven Scout Districts which support Scouting for about six thousand young people. We are also responsible for a beautiful wooded camp site, Youlbury, on Boars Hill near Oxford. We offer numerous local opportunities for water activities and hiking and climbing in Wales and in the north of the country. We offer a warm welcome to all young people over 6 years who want to join us, and are always on the look-out for adult help, either working with the young people, or assisting with the management and administration of Scouting across the County.
To make contact with the Scouts in your local community in Oxfordshire complete the on-line form and we will be touch with to discuss the opportunities which are available for young people in Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts or for adults as Adult Leaders or Supporters on in the Scout Network or Scout Fellowship.
Scouting largely takes place in Groups which are supported by a number of District Teams across Oxfordshire and these are listed below.
