Berkshire Scouts Email Addresses

Email addresses of the form xxxx@berkshirescouts.org.uk are used to provide contact points for members of the County and District Teams and others listed on the website.

You may choose to use this email address to both receive and send email.

Sending

If you wish to use the email address to send emails you will need to contact the County Web Team for details via webmaster@berkshirescouts.org.uk

Receiving

If you wish to receive the email address to receive emails you may select between

Redirection - this is the default.  Emails sent to xxxx@berkshirescouts.org.uk are automatically redirected to a single email address provided by the email recipient. This redirection requires no human involvement and no copies of messages are saved. The only copy will be the one sent to you normal email system. If you change your email address please remember to let the web team know.

The person sending the email to xxxx@berkshirescouts.org.uk has no knowledge of the ultimate email address to which the message will be redirected. Of course if you reply from your standard email address, then that address will be revealed.

POP3 - in which you set you email software to collect the emails from the email server. This is not the preferred route but it is remains an option.
