County DofE Advisor

Responsible for :

 Developing networks to deliver high quality support to Scouting (in Groups, in Districts [ES], in County [SNet])

 Leading delivery of programme elements of the County Plan – especially identifying & implementing key strategies designed to enhance delivered programme quality, including the quality of the “balanced programme” and the international and outdoor activities enjoyed by all our Youth Members.

 To agree and implement strategies targeted to increase year-on-year the membership of every Section across Berkshire

 Programme advisory role to the WINGS 2009 organising team(s)

 Programme consultation role to County-led events where required

 Providing peer group support and leadership to/for the Sectional ADCs of Berkshire

 Providing peer group support and leadership to Activity ADCs and Advisors

 Providing peer group support and leadership to International ADCs and Advisors

 Providing peer group support and leadership to DofE Advisors within the County

Sub-teams

 Sectional networks o Teams led by the individual ACCs, responsible for implementing and/or supporting programme delivery within their responsibility Later, creation of other sub-teams may be appropriate, for example:

 County Under-14s Programme Team o Developing and delivering strategies to enhance programmes delivered in Scout Groups

 County 14-25 Programme Team o Developing and delivering strategies to enhance Explorer Scout and Scout Network programmes
