Web Site Team

Berkshire Scouts County Team supports Scouting across Berkshire and an area of growing importance is the use of IT, electronic communications and the website.  Scouting in Berkshire involves over 1500 uniformed adult volunteers plus another 1000 or more supporters as well as some 6000 young people and their families.   As you can imagine effective communications are vital.

A key part of the County Plan is to develop the use of electronic communications and facilities via the County Website. The County Web Site already has a high visibility and it is in the top ten or so sites in the UK (try a Google search).

To continue to deliver this high quality service, the Web Support Team is expanding. Click here for a short description of the role.  If this is an area you think you would like to contribute then please contact the web support team via  via our on-line message system.  Let us know about your skills and experience and how you would like to contribute. There are opportunities for contributing an occasional period of time as well as a more regular weekly or monthly role.
