
If you are undertaking any form of a Nights Away Event you must notify your District Commissioner and the appropriate local District Commissioner of the event unless with regard to the latter it is based at a Scout operated site or facility. This on-line form provides a simple direct route to achieving this. The form will send all the necessary information about your event to the relevant people in your Group and District and to the Host DC. You will receive an email confirming what information has been sent. Many web browsers provide a memory facility for completing forms - you will find it very helpful to switch this on to enable faster entry the second time! If you are undertaking an event which is for Scout Network Members only - you must provide a Nights Away Notification but you do not require a Nights Away Permit - select Network Only when asked to select the type of permit you hold.
