The Safety in Scouting Coordinators are available to provide advice and support to Groups and Districts in ensuring that Scouting takes place in a safe environment. They are particularly concerned with providing advice on meeting places, Scout owned or managed buildings and organising events. The Safety in Scouting Team is not directly concerned with adventurous activities for which the activity team provides advice and support. more

Some of you may not have been receiving this regular weekly newsletter in recent weeks despite being signed up for it. This is because some internet providers such as AOL introduced screening of emails such that some were rejected without either the sender of potential recipient being made aware. The IT procedures used for emailing out the News from Berkshire Scouting have been modified to circumvent these problems and all should be running ok. If you know of anyone who is not receiving the weekly news please let the web team know at newsservice@berkshirescouts.org.uk
