Spain 2006 is a two week adventurous activities expedition for Explorer Scouts and Scout Network and their Adult Leaders to the spectacular mountainous area in Sort, Northern Spain at the end of August in 2006. Scouts and Explorer Scouts born on or between 28 July 1989 and 27 July 1993 are invited to attend one of the Jamboree Unit Roadshows to find out what's involved in joining the 2007 World Scout Jamboree contingent. Adult Leaders and Parents are also invited.

Are you under 18 with an interest in water sports like Canoeing and Sailing? Would you like to become an Instructor in water sports? But have little or no experience? Longridge are offering a six month full time course for Trainee Instructors. You do not need any formal qualifications to do this course but you do need to be enthusiastic about outdoor education, water confident and relate well to other people, particularly young people. Accommodation and food is provided plus a weekly allowance based on the minimum wage.
