The end of 2006 sees Brian Belcher stepping down as County Training Administrator. Brian's involvement with training goes back to the GCA training days and he has been at the heart of developing the new training programme and helping support each training area as well as the County-wide Team. "You’ve have always been a rock in terms of effort and reliability. You’ll be greatly missed but you leave behind a benchmark for others to match and hopefully build on" says Mick Stocks and we all agree. On behalf of everyone, the adult volunteers who have taken the modules, the modules coordinators and all those young people who have benefited from a trained leader team, the biggest thank you possible to you Brian.
The 21st World Scout Jamboree is the biggest UK volunteer project that Scouting has undertaken in its 100 year history.
