Barbara Burbedge

We are very sorry to report that Barbara Burbedge died on 24 April after a long illness.  Barbara had been a Guide Guider, District and Division Commissioner, but her contact with Scouting was through WINGS.  more

Congratulations and Thank You

Congratulations to Bob Tunbridge (South Berks), Chris Evans (South East Berks), Amber Pearce (Maidenhead), Esther Grandfield (Reading Central) who have completed their Adult Training Programme more

Congratulations to Eugene Futcher from Kennet District who was presented with his 25 year Long Service award at the District St George's Day service in Bristol Cathedral. more

A big thank you to you all on behalf of all the young people for whom you help to provide brilliant adventure with fun and friendship across Berkshire.

St George's Day Activities

Over 500 from Kennet District boarded a steam train for a day out in Bristol visiting the Science and Technology Centre and re-affirming their promises in Bristol Cathedral.

The St George's Day event for Wokingham District on 24 April 2005 was an activity day based in Dinton Pastures - a Country Park near Winnersh. more

Brownsea Reloaded

In 2007 the World will celebrate 100 years of Scouting and at 8am on 1st August all eyes will be on Brownsea Island and the Scouting’s Sunrise Ceremony.

In preparation for these events we are running Brownsea Reloaded between the 1st and 4th August 2005. If you would like to be part of it click here for the details.
