Grant from the King George VI Fund

The King George VI Fund of the Scout Association has  awarded the County Adult Support and Training Team a grant towards the cost of purchasing a data projector more

Items need for Historical Exhibition

A group of enthusiasts is developing a collection of items connected with Scouting over the last 100 years. It is hoped that the collection will be housed in Windsor.  The group already have a good collection but they are looking for more items.  more

Call for your stories 

We all know that every week over 6000 young people in Beaver Scout Colonies, Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops, Explorer Units and Scout Networks across Berkshire have a fantastic time with in Scouting.  We need to start telling others about this great adventure, how Scouts help others and how we enrich lives week in week out. When you have a story about your colony/pack/troop/unit/network send it in with a photo of the magic moment to story@berkshirescouts.org.uk  It will then appear on Scouts in Action more

News List to Expand

The Berkshire Scouts News Service is one of the recent developments arising from the Plan for the County which seeks to support Even Better Scouting for even more Young People in Berkshire. At a recent meeting (8th March), the Executive Committee of Berkshire Scout Council approved a plan to add all known adults concerned with Scouting in Berkshire to the mailing list for the News Service. This will ensure that all adults receive up to date news on the support, resources, training and activities available to them in their Scouting Activities. more
