Wargrave Scouts come out top

A team of three Scouts from 1st Wargrave narrowly pipped Pinkneys Green Scouts and 9th Maidenhead Scouts to the top spot at the recent Scouts County Cooking Competition. more 

Scouts in Action launched

A new feature Scouts in Action was launched this week on the Berkshire Scouts web site.  Scouts in Action shows short features on the adventure that Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Scout Network get up to across Berkshire every week of the year.  The page will automatically show the most recent five stories, but you can search for entries containing a particular word. more

Call for your stories 

We all know that every week over 6000 young people in Beaver Scout Colonies, Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops, Explorer Units and Scout Networks across Berkshire have a fantastic time with in Scouting. Everywhere there is adventure, fun and friendship. We need to start telling others about this great adventure, how Scouts help others and how we enrich lives week in week out. When you have a story about your colony/pack/troop/unit/network send it in with a photo of the magic moment to story@berkshirescouts.org.uk  It will then appear on Scouts in Action more

Presentations at 1st Maidenhead Scouts

More Chief Scout Silver Awards to Cub Scouts  and a 10 year Long Service Award were presented at 1st Maidenhead Scouts by Ray Tucker. more

There is less than a week to go to Comic Relief - it is Friday 11 th March. It’s only just over three weeks to go until the big event. Preparing for 2007

As part of the preparations for sharing the World Jamboree Experience  taking place in 2007 and previous jamborees a new website has been launched  www.berkshirescoutsjamboree.org.uk. (A previous site www.berkshirejamboree.org.uk is no more)  As more news of the World Jamboree in 2007 becomes available this website wil have all the news.
