Invitation

The County Team invites every Adult Volunteer and all Explorer Scout and Scout Network Members across Berkshire to the County Annual General Meeting on Thursday 7 July 7.30 for 8pm in the Long Gallery in Englefield House, near Theale. Click here for the details. The meeting provides an opportunity to celebrate the adventure, fun and friendship of the past year and to look forward to the next year.

Administrators Workshop

All those holding the post of  Group or District Chair, Treasurer and Secretary are invited to the Administrators Workshop which will take place on Saturday 9 July in Wokingham.  There is no charge for the workshop. Sign up now!  more

Mayor Commends Scouts - "You are an important part of our lives"

The Town Mayor of Wokingham, Councillor Danny Miller paid tribute to the Scout Groups in Wokingham Scout District. Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of Wokingham District Scouts he said "I commend you for your work, Scouting is an important of our lives. more

East Reading Scouts Launch Development Plan after Record Year

The Annual General Meeting of East Reading District Scouts on 21 June 2005 heard that the numbers of young people involved in Scouting in East Reading were up by 4% with significant increases in the numbers of Beaver Scouts and Explorer Scouts. more

Pang Valley District up 6%

The Annual General Meeting of Pang Valley District Scouts held on Sunday 19th June heard that the number of young people involved with Scouting in the District was up 6%. more

Nights Away Notification made simple

If you missed the news last week the Berkshire Scouts web site now provides an all Districts on-line notification process which takes all the effort out of the Nights Away Notification procedure. A link to the online form is available on the home page of the Berkshire Scouts Website www.berkshirescouts.org.uk, look on the right hand menu.
