The Annual County Review for 2004-2005 "An Active County" is now available on-line. The Annual County Review highlights some of the fabulous Scouting activities which took place over the last year across Berkshire and further afield.
If you missed the news of a few weeks ago, the Berkshire Scouts web site now provides an all Districts on-line notification process which takes all the effort out of the Nights Away Notification procedure. A link to the online form is available on the home page of the Berkshire Scouts Website www.berkshirescouts.org.uk, look on the right hand menu. There is now an equivalent Activity Notification for these evening or day events which involve adventurous activities or which are held away from the normal meeting place, for example a nature trail or a day at a theme park. Congratulations to Pinkneys Green Scout Group for getting two photographs in the top three photographs of the year. The other photograph was from Taceham Explorers. The Photograph of the Year was awarded to a photograph "Big Adventures- Small People" taken by a Cub Scout at Pinkneys Green Scout Group. The winning trio were selected from the series of Photo the Week on the Berkshire Scout Website. The selection was made by Chris Foster Deputy Press Officer of the Scout Association.
