Berkshire Scouts

The Mount Challenge - Personal Kit

You must bring a watch, a compass, a whistle, a torch and a personal first aid kit. You will find items such as pens and paper useful. You should bring at least one change of clothes for activities. You will need no other specific equipment in addition to your lightweight camping kit and your personal equipment such as sleeping bag and spare clothes.

Do remember waterproofs although I hope there is no rain and a warm sweater or other top in case in turns cold. You will need to arrive in Uniform carrying your kit unaided. Although you only need to carry your kit from the car to the campsite please ensure that you are not overloaded. On Saturday, the activities will involve an exploration trail and you may find it useful to bring a day-sac to carry your lunch and other items. There will be a small tuck shop so a few pennies could be useful
