The Mount Challenge

Welcome to Berkshire's Mount Challenge - a unique event just for Scouts. A Monster Weekend of Fun and Adventure Like No Other.

Entry 2006

The Mount Challenge Weekend will  take place over the weekend 20-21 May 2006.  The Mount Challenge is an exclusive weekend activity for Scouts. It is a friendly competition based on a lightweight camping weekend for teams of two Scouts with individual and team challenges and lots of other activities.

The cost for the complete weekend including all the food, facilities and the activities is £18 per team member

Each team will be sent detailed information containing location maps etc.  Checkout the items on the right hand menu for suggested kit and preparation advice.

Post the form with your entry fee to cover the event and all the food and facilities to the address on the form.

Doc MountDoc Mount's Check List for filling in the form

    • Make sure you have a partner -  The Mount Challenge is for teams of two Scouts, any age, from the same patrol or different patrols, same Scout Troop, different Scout Troop etc

    • You need approval from your Leader as well as your parents

    • Check you have the correct dates  and that you can make it.

    • Get a cheque or postal order made payable to Berkshire Scout Council for £36 the team  or two cheques at  £18 per team member.

    • Post it or deliver it to the Mount Challenge Coordinator by the closing date.
