Massif 20-10

What is it?  A multi-activity trip for Explorer Scouts and Scout Network to the Massif Central region in France.

When is it?  August 2010.  The exact dates are to be confirmed, although the proposed dates are from 15th to 29th August 2010.

How much will it cost?  £650, which includes travel, camp fees, food and activities.

The Massif 20-10 Experience

Up to one hundred Explorer Scouts and Scout Network will set off from Berkshire in MPVs, en-route to France.  Once across the channel, we will make our way through France to our base camp in Millau; we will camp on a local campsite, with full facilities (showeblocks, swimming-pool, etc).  Once set-up everyone will have the opportunity to take part in some first class activities and complete their Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions.  The water, the rocks and the hills are only a short distance away from basecamp, not to mention the superb Gorge du Tarn.  We also have an amazing Explore Programme, visiting many beautiful places in the Massif Central region.  At the end of the Expedition, we will journey back to the UK for a well earned rest.
