More than 110 Explorers, Young leaders and Network will be travelling to Spain next summer! Thank you for the vote of confidence. Registrations are now closed for participants.

Participants: Make sure you sign up for the Hill walking training weekend. We will also need to know who wants to take part in Diamond Chief Scout Award/ DofE Silver and Queen Scout Award/Gold DofE...Think about it!

Following on the successes of Massif 20-10, Alps 2008, Spain 2006 and Slovenia 2004, an experienced team of Activity leaders are hard at work to prepare a fantastic event filled with exciting activities to suit all abilities.

Open to Explorers, Network Scouts and Young leaders, this Adventurous Activities Camp is an experience not to miss!

This 2 week expedition to the centre of Spanish Pyrenees, during the latter half of August 2012 (12th-26th August,provisional dates ) guarantees physical challenges, testing of your camping skills and new friendships under the warm spanish sun.

We will be offering a wide range of adventurous activities including:

mountain walking (with the option of hutting overnight) in the high Pyrenees,
lower level walking in beautiful wild country,
rock climbing,
canoeing and kayaking on rivers and vast lakes every day,
Mountain biking in breath taking surroudings ( no pun intended!)
higher level ( Silver and Gold ) D of E Award expeditions.

In addition, there will be opportunities to go white water rafting, canyoning, caving, horse riding and climb a via ferrata with local instructors in our Extended Activities programme.

The long history of the ancient kingdom of Aragón (remember a famous Queen?) means that we will offer an extensive Explore Programme, to discover the culture, food and the local places of interest in the area and will include visits to France, through the tunnels of the Pyrenees.
