Berkshire Scouts supports the provision of Scouting in more than a hundred locations across Berkshire providing fun, friendship and adventure for more than 6000 young people aged 6 to 25 through thousands of volunteers.

 'Volunteering is a means of enabling people to engage in society and create positive change for themselves and others.’  The Government recently described volunteering as ‘the essential act of citizenship and a powerful means of social inclusion.’ Spending time working with and caring for young people is a means of making that vision a reality.
