Wokingham District AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Wokingham District Scouts saw the County Commissioner, Hamish Stout, announce the apppointment of Stephanie Gould Andy McBain as Deputy District Commissioners. Hamish said that the dual positions will allow the District to develop even further over the next few years. It is a system that may be adopted elsewhere in Berkshire.
The photo shows the District Commissioner, John Hook after the presentation of an encapsulated bust of Baden Powell to mark his standing down as District Commissioner.
The meeting concluded with a picture diary of the expedition to Spain in 2006 which had a large number of young people and adults from Wokingham on it.
