Taceham Hundred District
This District supports Scouting for young people aged 6 to 25 in Thatcham; Cold Ash; Compton; Hermitage; Woolhampton; and the surrounding area.
Taceham Hundred District AGM
The Taceham Hundred District Annual Meeting at Cold Ash saw a two video shows put together in the District, one prepared for the St George's Day Event and the other a picture diary of the year in Taceham.
The District Commissioner Pete Kearley thanked all the people across the District who made Scouting possible. He thank outgoing District Chairman Adrian Steele and made a presentation of limited edition print (photo above). Pete welcomed Nigel Coopey as the incoming Chairman.

Beaver Scout Award in 2nd Thatcham
The photograph show Jayden, a Beaver Scout from 2nd Thatcham Beaver Scout Colony, who has just received the annual award for outstanding contribution to Beaver Scouts. This award was presented at the annual St. Georges Day Event in Thatcham. This was attended by all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, and Fellowship, from the Taceham Hundred District.

Scouting for 6 to 14 year old boys and girls is based in local Scout Groups. There are 6 Groups in the Taceham Hundred District offering Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts - To make contact with your nearest Scout Group you should use the 'District contact' given above or follow the links in the list.

Scouting for 14 to 18 young men and women is based in local Explorer Scout Units. There are two such units in the Taceham Hundred District

Scouting for 18 to 25 men and women is based in the Scout Network which is coordinated on a County-wide basis.
Adults in Taceham Hundred
There are many opportunities for adults to enjoy and support Scouting. Working directly with young people in the Sections includes being a Leader; an Assistant Leader; Colony, Pack or Troop Assistant and so on.
The are also opportunities to help at Group level and in the District in 'management' roles. Tasks at these levels include finance; administration; fund-raising; taking care of equipment; and so on.
Adults in Scouting have fun and are well supported with training and through District and County programme teams.

Support for Adults in Taceham Hundred
All Adults in Scouting are supported by both District and County-based Support Teams and by a widely respected training programme which can lead to a qualification from the National Open College Network.
