Responsibilities

The County Adult and Support Forum are responsible for :

 Advising DCC(Adult Support & Training) on key priorities and issues regarding adult training and adult support

Delivery Teams 1)

1) County Adult Support Team

Membership Chair appointed by DCC(Adult Support & Training) in consultation with the CC

County Appointments sub-Committee Chairman

County Child Protection Coordinator

Other members invited by the DCC(Adult Support & Training) in consultation with the CC.

The County Safety Co-ordinator will be an invited member.

Role Over-seeing effective support for adults, including:

 Implementation of the Adult support model

 Child Protection support and training

 Effective functioning of District & County Appointments sub-Committees

Responsibility for supporting and developing the work of

 Scout Fellowship  Special Needs  Chaplain

 

2) County Adult Training Team

Membership CTM LTMs LTAs CTA

Role

 Overseeing the management and delivery of all aspects of Adult Training, in partnership with Districts (PPAs, Course, other methods, TAs, etc.)

 Developing/delivering [in consultation with Districts] strategies and plans that ensure that all leaders achieve “Getting Started” within 5 months of CRB return, and Wood Badge within 2.5 years of “Getting Started” completion.

 Developing/delivering strategies and plans for on-going training for all leaders.
